Just chiming in to clarify - the reason why Housing wants an actual recent photo of you when you move in is because they staple it to your official residence information card that they keep on file. The reason they do that is because if you are locked out of your room, you may not have any identification on you, and they don't want to hand out a replacement room key to anyone who just happens to know your room number. So, they pull out your file and see if your face matches the picture that's there (which is why it should be recent). It's a security thing, and they've been doing it for a really long time, too.
Nice to finally see a site like this that's open to everyone, I would have loved it while I was still at Mac - Danielle, did they even bother to do a Prelude to Mac message board this year? I was involved in its first year of operation, which didn't always go so smoothly...

lol it's ok if you don't know what a reaver is...most people don't. I just decided to be very random. If you watch Firefly, aka one of the best shows ever, then you'll know what a reaver is.

Haha, yep, it's me.....man, I could really have fun posting in here, there have been some good discussions. While I probably wouldn't get *quite* up to the prolific posting level that you've demonstrated, I still probably could spit out some of the seemingly massive amounts of Mac tips and trivia that I accumulated in my time there :-p I love talking about Mac, I miss it a lot...who knows, maybe grad school is the answer, heh.
