Unless you live in Keyes/Bates, you're not allowed to have a microwave in your room. But the common rooms on each floor have their own microwave that you can use.

Yes, you can. Tim Hortons and the Pita place comes off your meal plan but anything from MyMac comes off your flex plan. So pretty much anything that isn't food comes off the flex plan.

Hi there, I have a question: Are you allowed to bring your own mattress? If I do, I plan on putting it on top of whatever Mac is supplying.
Thanks!

I believe it's against the rules to bring your own mattress. Plus, it's cheaper and easier to carry a mattress pad.

I found the mattresses were completely fine without a mattress pad or anything, but I don't really care about what kind of mattress I'm sleeping on...I can sleep anywhere lol

I found the mattress that was provided was very thin so I bought a good quality memory foam topper at Walmart for about $30.00. The fitted sheet held everything in place and it worked well for me.

I agree, I felt like it wasn't too bad. A mattress pad might help, but it's not really horrible to begin with.
niteskie- Awww! There will definitely be other time, and hey move-in is in a week!

I guess I'm lucky - I've chatted with both of my roommates as well as met up with one of them. :S
