Definitively smaller in width. It's pretty much just a foam mattress.

The width was actually surpising for me, and for some strange reason, I feel that the top bunk in the bunk/loft rooms feel a lot bigger than the bonttom one :S

Probably because you don't have wooden supports and a ladder around you. It makes it feel like you are in a box.

It's very very overpriced. Unless you're having moving issues (ie, you're international or live extremely far away), it doesn't make sense. Even if you are coming from far, it might be cheaper for you to go to walmart or something near campus instead of trekking things over.
Twin blankets itself only cost 20 or 30 bucks at walmart, pillows go for about 6, sheets are probably 30 bucks, towels are cheap and most of the little things they throw in there, you could prob get from dollarama.

Yes it is, but transfers are most likely needed.
Apparently;
Bus - 05 - Delaware - Direction: Eastbound to JONES at KING (to MAIN at HUGHSON)
Bus - 27 - Upper James - Direction: Southbound to MOUNTAIN TRANSIT CENTRE (to UPPER JAMES at FENNELL)
Just use google maps to see the actual directions.

Yep, I looked it up on the HSR, you can definitely use your Student Card, but you'll also need to transfer buses.
