Science 2C00
Is science 2c00 worth taking? I've heard that it is very useful for improving your résumé and interview skills, but with a full course load is it worth the extra effort?

Didn't personally take it, but sounds like a cool course!

2C00 is meant to be taken with a full courseload. It's zero-credit for a reason

If you've never had a job before then it could be useful, but otherwise it's a lot of common sense with respect to how to act in an interview or how to search for a job.

If it's similar to the one that people have to take in the Faculty of Engineering, there are only a few sessions (3-5), so there is little to no workload really.

I took it in second year and there was very little work involved. If you're looking to get into a coop program or to land an independent study/thesis project later or to apply for a job, it's very useful. You only have to attend 1 hour of class a week, and there's a couple weeks where there was no class, I believe. Plus, the instructor meets with you in person to help you personally revise your resume and to give you tips on how to improve it. The instructor that I had, Kimberley John, was really knowledgeable and I found her far more helpful than some of the other student-volunteer-provided resume checking services on campus. Overall, I'd say it was definetly worth the extra effort because there was hardly any work to do except a couple small assignments. ("write one paragraph about what your goals are and how you want to achieve them"etc.)
