I was just gonna say that when I started actually clicking the mugsi link instead of refreshing I got in in like 5 minutes.. lucky for me...
I was wondering when they updated the status of labs? Is it as soon as someone changes the status or is it during the down times at night? For example, if lab 5 is full and I change from lab 5 to another lab, will someone who wants to get into that lab be able to see that it's available right after I've confirmed my changes or does it take longer?

Quick tip on getting in:
MUGSI:
hold your hand on alt+f4, when max number appears press the buttons and quickly click the mugsi link again (keep the mouse pointed there), do this over and over and you can get in in like 10 min max
SOLAR: press f5 here since it actually works and doesnt just refresh the max number screen
Last Tip: 45 minutes means MUGSI too, so go in, do 1st semester changes, save, then do 2nd sem, save, and dont rush but go briskly

It'd be really sad if you spent 45 minutes getting into solar and as soon as you got in it told you that your mugsi session had expired...
Oh and I jsut realized that every single lab in one of my courses is full except for the one I'm in... LOL what the hell...

Just so you guys know, I emailed Getting Registered this morning saying "SOLAR should be open at 8am but it's 9am and it isn't open, why?"
They replied at 1:30pm saying:
"Thank you for your email. Please try to reaccess SOLAR again - you should now be able to access it successfully.
Sincerely,
Getting Registered"
.....Very helpful.

Im so happy...i scheduled myself so that i get off at 2:20 on term one fridays and 10:20 on term 2 fridays. But does anyone know how soon they update your timetable after you have made core and lab changes? Im axious to get confirmation that Iactually did this right.
EDIT: Nvm, they update your timetable pretty well right after you make the changes. Everything worked out. It was a boring 2 hours clicking refresh and trying to get into SOLAR, but it was worth it!!!

The person you were talking to before who was going to 'fix' the problem. Did they fix it then? What did they fix / what is different?

Im having problems with the Selection itself.
I seem can't modify the cores, labs, and tutorials all together at once!
Like if I press 'Display All' on Tutorials it keeps on refreshing and my lab would be changed back to the old lab.
I dont get it.. And I tried calling the UTS and they weren't soo helpful at all! They keep on sending me to another operator and one of them just hanged up on me....:( :( :(
Please someone help me! :( :(:(

So, I've been up since like 5:45 am and it's not 1:20 pm (I'm from Alberta), and STILL no luck with getting on mugsi. I'm sick of my routine of clicking on mugsi, alt+F4, lather rinse repeat for 10 min and then back to work until the next hour comes up. I need to get rid of my conflicts!!!
Looks like I'll be pulling a couple of OT hours today unpaid =P
