Omg... this sucks. I planned to get up at 8 and get in but I overslept to 9 and I don't even know if it would've made a difference. STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN IN.

During my breakup with MUGSI 2 minutes ago, I thought of something.

Don't stress over changing classes in Second Semester!

TONS of people will switch out during First Semester... just check back periodically.

I've honestly never had a problem switching my second semester classes / tutorials.

Deal with first semester, then after school starts, check back with SOLAR for your second semester classes.

[I still hate you MUGSI]

Don't sit in front of the computer all day, take a little break, walk around a bit. Everyone knows to repeatedly use the F5 button to constantly refresh the page right?

I'm just scared that if I press the f5 button when I get in, it'll go back to the screen of doom. OMGGGGGGGGG THERE SHOULD BE A DAM WAITING LIST.

I had the same problem. It kept saying that the maximum number of students are on SOLAR so I would close the window and open it again and again until I got in. First time, my 45 minute session ended. The second time SOLAR crashed right after I was done making my changes. Third time was a charm... So the third time I got in and quickly made my changes and now I'm just waiting for the changes to appear on the timetable.

scholarship on payment agreement
i confirmed my payment agreement the first day that i picked my courses (for hummanities) but i received a scholarship so i confirmed the payment agreement before the enterance scholarship was on it

i haven't reconfirmed it after the amount would have appeared and i'm trying to get on to solar now but it's been full all morning

will i have to reconfirm my agreement before i can change around the dates of my tutorials

or is it too late to reconfirm the agreement?

does anyone know?!

thanks

K I have a question. That 1st screen that pops up (before you log in).. if you F5 that, will it get you in eventually? Because.. I checked the link and I don't think refershing resets the thing.. it just reopens the "Max number" page.

I think.

I know the 2nd page (when you're getting into solar, not mugsi works with F5.

As long as you've confirmed the agreement once, you should be fine. Updates like OSAP and scholarships will come up but they just need to know that you've confirmed the agreement at some point.

To add: If you RECONFIRM after the last date to confirm your payment agreement, the date that you've CONFIRMED your payment agreement will reset to that date (This is mentioned by Chad in a previous thread) so it's good that you hadn't reconfirmed the payment agreement after that first time.

Just a little advice for those who have yet to make changes... before going into solar, open up the master timetable and type in the code for all your required courses/electives and open each one separately in a new tab in your browser (i.e. firefox/ie7/etc).

This was really helpful for me as even though I had my timetable planned out, I found some of my tutorials were already full. If you have everything open in tabs already you just need to click on the tab for that course and you can see all cores/tutorials times. Better than typing in several different course codes again to check other availaible timings. Saved me about 10-15 mins which are precious when working with the SOLAR time limit. just my two cents. good luck with making the changes!

Yeah, Leraison, I was thinking the same thing about refreshing the MUGSI page. I think it would display the maximum page when you refresh because that's the active link which is why I just closed the window and re-opened it every time instead.

F5 on that screen does not work. It just keeps on refeshing the max number page. The screen on Solar works because you're resending the information to the server.
