i don't know if that's necessarily right...im going into 1st year health sci this year and i just had a look at my supplemental and i mentioned quite a few things that i did and that are important to me, especially for the question about understanding yourself as a "whole person". So i wouldnt focus on just one thing, unless that is what the question asks.
That doesnt mean that you have to be an amazing student leader with hundreds of volunteer hours or a star athlete, just write about things that are important to you, dont try to give a 'textbook' answer, just be honest and be yourself.
