Flipping between the men's 5000 m speed skating and the women's hockey game between Switzerland and Sweden. Sweden just scored.

The fiddling portion was my favourite part of the opening ceremony, and the whales.

A very tragic accident. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, teammates, and fellow lugers.

Not a good way to start the Olympics...

At this time, with such a tragic accident occurring right before the opening ceremony, I don't think it really matters but...

I would love to see Betty Fox (Terry Fox's mother) light the Olympic flame. It would symbolize the end of Terry's run, which would be awesome. However, I have a feeling it'll be Wayne Gretzky. I wouldn't mind The Great One lighting the flame. He is after all the greatest hockey player EVER, and hockey is our game.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Just a few more hours left...

So I just saw the video, on the NEWS! and I must say it was bad. I don't know they would release such a horrible video. Its disgrace to his honor, its a shame the media would do such a thing.

Opening ceremony was pretty awesome! Wasn't the greatest ever but it was good!

So the protests have turned violent.

WHAT a surprise (NOT!).

This is why the government should enforce the laws from the beginning. Protest all you want, but don't block the road. The moment you allow them to get huge crowds and start breaking the little laws, the violent elements think its "time to smash windows". I'm fully in favor of using the police to apprehend these criminals and the riot police to prevent other protestors from obstructing the police.

Arrest them all.

The more violet and belligerent they get the less people are going to care about any valid points they may have.

Watching the women kick Slovakia's ass currently, 9-0 with over 10 minutes left in the 2nd period. 7 goals in the first period. Poor Slovakia, this is their women's team first time playing in the Olympics.

Adam Malysz's jump was amazing. Hopefully the Polish Batman wins gold on the large hill.

Also, incredible performance by Jenn Heil. Can't really complain that she got beat by a better skier this time.

I assume you mean 4 total, not 4 Gold. That will change though. Watch out for Norway and Germany. Ze Germans always win. As long as the US doesn't win, Im happy.

Oh, SICK photos! Thats so epic that you were there.

I wish I could go out to Vancouver right now. I love the city, I love the Olympics, and I love the patriotism. The protesters just make me LOL. As someone said, your valid points get sort of revoked once you start being violent - I surely won't listen to you now. ^_^
