i got reinstated economics 2nd year today. i didn't take a year off. All i did was getting double A's in my spring term 1 courses. (I wanted to take more but you are not allowed to take term 2 summer courses if you have may not continue status).

Do they tell you if you don't get reinstated?

if u get reinstated it will show up in program&summary and you can also see 2012-2013 fall/winter section. I got mine though hotmail which is the one i wrote when i apply. This will take latest Mid august. if you didn't get a response yet, they are probably reviewing your application. As long as they didnt give you answer, you still have a chance. so don't give up yet!

ps. Btw i just received a response for Special Consideration that i applied in "May" from faculty of science. Result positive =D

I checked the Program & Course Summary on mugsi. Under the comments it says

" 50 NOT REINSTATED TO THE FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES FOR THE
51 FALL/WINTER 2012-13 SESSION."

Does that mean I haven't been reinstated? I didn't receive any e-mail or notification of any sort. Or does it just mean that my application hasn't been reviewed yet?

I read earlier that Social Sciences applicants will be reviewed by mid August. Why has mine been reviewed, if it has been?

Just really nervous and would love to have a second chance.

you have not been reinstated. You should make some alternative arrangements. Online courses/Mohawk and reapply next year.

this is what I got in an email I sent

"Hi John,

Yes, your Reinstatement Application has been read. You will receive the decision via Canada Post in the next week two weeks.

Havent gotten a rejection or acceptance under PROGRAM SUMMARY...its blank. Still hoping I guess :/
