My HP printer isn't the best... but I did get it for free with my camera so that could be a reason why. But the ink ran out so fast, it was like there was a couple drops in the cartridge instead of it being full.

But it print fine just like any other printer would.

The toner is reg $60, on sale for $50 atm. I wonder if its even worth it for me to get a printer, I dont want to walk all the way to campus when I need to print a last-min assignment. And I know my housemates are starting to get annoyed that I keep asking to use theirs...

That sounds reasonable... Toner lasts for quite a long time.

Edit: You can probably find Toner for even cheaper if you scour the internet.

I wanted a colour all-in-one printer and I wanted a laser too, but everything I found was really expensive, forutnately I spotted this printer (a colour laser all-in-one) that was relatively cheap ($200) and had good reviews, see what you think.

Hmm, I suppose its relatively cheap. But I dont think I can justify another $100 (and the space required for that huge thing!) just for colour, thats where $0.99 colouring pencils come in handy
But thank you!!

I don't know, how much did you print last year? Assignments, tutorials, practice tests? I personally only print Assignments, Course Outlines, Labs and Tutorial stuff. But I still have a printer and I actually print quite a lot.

Well last year since I didnt have a printer, I knew that anything I needed to or wanted to print I had to ask a friend, and I really didnt wanna be a burden or be annoying, so anything I printed was necessary... a few assignments to be handed in, one exam practice, one sheet to be filled in during a tutorial, and a few other random things.

But if I could print everything I wanted, Id be printing resumes, applications for things, maps and directions, assignments, all practice tests, probably slides for the Bio class Im gonna take, outlines maybe, emails.

Im not an excessive printer at all... but I think its worth it if itll last me a while

Oh yeah, there's also printed stuff for non-academic things.

Sounds like it would be worth if it you are going to use your printer for all those things. It would be really annoying to always have to go to the library to print stuff off.
