Date spots around Mac
Hello, could anyone on here suggest some decent places to take a girl whose never been around Mac?

I've met someone whom goes to UoT and we are going out Friday during the evening.

Any place you can suggest; would be nice if it wasn't some stupid-expensive restaurant or cliche.

Don't think we've had a thread for this, so hey .

Although Bridges is great, it closes at 3 on Friday.

I love the Bean Bar. also Montforts in Westdale is good or Maccheroni's on Main Street towards Dundas is also good. I have never been impressed with the dining options around Mac.

Been considering Montefort, I haven't heard the best things about Maccheroni's. Thinking about all this now, idk if restaurants like this are the best idea for a second date(should've mentioned that ).

Go for a movie at the Westdale Theatre!!! Great date place, very old fashioned but cool. And before you can either go for dinner at Montfort's or Bean Bar or just get a warm drink and desert at the coffee place next to Subway.. I think it's called My Dog Joe, or Second Cup.

You should tip anytime you eat out, unless the service was horrible.

I've been to Maccheroni's a few times and it's always really good, nice and small too (which would be good for a date compared to a big packed restaurant).

You shouldn't tip just because society says you have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, give them a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.

Too bad Canada isn't like Korea, where they consider tips to be an insult to their work.

if you think these waiters don't make enough, they can quit.

They posted from different IP's completely, so they are not one in the same... that is unless one of them figured out cloning or can be in two places at once (let me know the secret!)
