In all seriousness though it's best to either post a picture of yourself of something gender ambiguous on forums or you will always have your gender confused. Personally I think it's more fun to continue to let people think you're a girl. I once ran a guild on an MMO and for a period of over a year most of the guild managed to convince itself that I was a Wiccan lesbian. Good times.

His name is right beneath his picture - he shouldn't have to change it so it (his picture) clearly defines his sex.

This is the internet. 9/10 people are too lazy to read anything extra than they have to (this is why tl;dr exists). Even though the name is there this is at least the 3rd time I've seen his gender confused since people didn't read the name.

I'm rather entertained by it. I'd prefer to keep this identity. It's rather consistent. I actually put effort in maintaining a consistent profile. You'd probably find me on other forums with the same avatar, username and sig. I was wishing there was a way to hide my name though. Not that I have a problem with being known by my name on this site, but people from other sites can find my profile on MI and tell my name from it. I'd prefer to remain anonymous, but I don't want to put a fake name. That's just....no.
