In case you haven't heard, some airports in the US have implemented scanning machines that basically capture an image of your naked body. There's much more to it than I can properly explain, so read more here:

What do you think? Will you be flying?

When you try and take a plane as it is you may be subject to a strip search so why not? Personally I would find a scan less invasive that a full strip search.
Plus, quite frankly, I have lost confidence in western security agencies. Many more terrorist attack attempts are inevitable and our security organizations are unable to even prevent the right people from boarding planes when they should!

Couldn't care less.
And to be honest, I'd rather this than being patted down/felt up by ugly people. amirite or amirite??
Everyone's SEEN a naked body, but not everyone has touched one!

This puts a definite barrier to my plane trips... I got fat during the holidays...
Also, check this out: http://www.thestar.com/news/world/ar...-little-bother

Is airport security going to keep going until we have to vomit and have a body cavity search done, and then we'll have to sit in airport appointed clothing that we put on in the airport with no items anywhere near us, and if we move we'll be handcuffed and sedated?

i dont really see the validity in the interview process that isreal uses. Personally i have a natural tendency of getting nervous around authority figures. Through there evaluation it would seem as if i wanted to cause harm to their people. I think their just tryng to justify racial profiling. If your arab, or have an arabic name, you will be stopped regardless of how coherent your speech. Which is why they would have stopped abdulmutalib.

I think it goes a little bit beyond just "looking nervous" and feeling naturally threatened by authority?

Couldn't agree more. Yeah sure they say it's not for discrimination purposes, but of course it is, and I don't understand how they can actually think people will believe that....
Just like some countries say that putting your sex on a resume is not used against you.
Yeah, right.

My opinion on this was described pretty well by Jason on the Dean Blundell show:
"Id rather have someone see an outline of my nards than be blown up"
