True but no one expected the Leafs to land in last place after they had an amazing preseason, and with all the so called "great" acquisitions. A few weeks ago, almost everyone was saying what a great team we have, and what an amazing job Burke did so far getting great/tough players etc. Even the analyst in the media were saying the same thing. That's why most of us are disappointed. Another thing that really bothers me is that the media analysts changing their minds, and then having the nerve to say "I told you so."

I support the Leafs. I had high hopes like many others, and I'm disappointed right now. I'm just hoping Burke and Wilson fix it soon.

Preseason doesn't mean anything... this should be a lesson to everyone who thinks that it does.

lol this is just sad to be honest. Darcy Tucker on the bench is probably like "thank god im outta there". Leafs have no energy or nuthing, Joey Macdonald isnt playing okay either.

i dont even get y u guys are complaining so much..Leafs are freaking first in the league..for the number1 draft pick of 09-10! Rejoice Leaf Fans, we'll get our chance..in 10 years

No we aren't. The Leafs gave away their first rounder for 09/10 draft in the Kessel trade

Btw, we're down 4-1...

I'm kind of feeling sorry for Ron Wilson at the moment. Judging by his face, he has no idea what to do with this team...

I'm not even going bother watching the 3rd period...

Garbage...

This team was a piece of crap tonight. NO EFFORT at all, which is unacceptable.

I can't even believe I watched this garbage tonight... I feel sorry for the people that actually paid to watch this garbage. The Leafs are terrible.

...you know what's funny, the best player on the ice tonight isn't a Leaf but is on the Leafs payroll. Yes...Darcy Tucker - we're still paying him 1mill a season!

Absolutely disgusting.
