your reps and your HPA will also probably go over the schedule on the first day and will constantly remind you throughout the week! so you'll know when stuff is going down. I was a Rep for Hedden Hall last year and we ended up making posters, and hanging them up in the lobby so everyone can see what was happening.

They usually do it in most of the residences. And if you find out there isn't a schedule ask one of your reps or the RLS staff!

Oh right! But I think it might be FYE that send it. But I remember all those pamphlets and stuff. Yeah, there was a schedule it in too.

I really don't intend on purchasing a macPass...
And I'm just thinking...
I've read a lot of replies on this thread and they really didn't change my opinion at all... It's a nice idea and all but it just seems as if it would be a lot more productive [and less awkward] to just wait and start meeting people on my res floor and in classes and etc
Does not buying one affect your moving in at all? I realize I couldn't go to the events and etc but does it really matter THAT much?
Just wondering is all

The only thing is that you may find it a bit weird/awkward to start meeting people in your residence after welcome week. By that time everyone already knows each other because of welcome week.
I would still suggest buying a macpass, but no, it doesn't affect your moving in.

But it doesn't really affect it... my group of friends didn't form until after welcome week. But I guess most groups would form during the week.
