there are some meals that are hosted by hospitality, you gotta pay for them but they are on during welcome week. Not 100% if you need a macpass for it

You have a meal card with over $2500 on it, you really will find that it is more than adequate.

ummm whattt exactly areee youuuu askingggg hereeee abouttttt? The MacPass and the Meal Plan are totally seperate things :S

The MacPass is the thing which covers your entry into Welcome Week Events ONLY, it is not valid for anything after it. During Welcome Week I only recall two instances where people were given free food and that was Facutly day and Night, during both instances there were vegetarian choices.

As for the Meal Plan, it is actually like a debit card you use to "purchase" stuff from various places on campus. There are quite a few vegetarian choices and as for Halal, the last I recall there are around 4 Halal Choices on campus(One Sliced Beef Cold Sandwich, Two Burgers, One Roast Beef choice For Wrap/Subs).

And since I'm assuming you will be fasting during welcome week the only probable time when you might have a choice of food is Faculty Night :S
