They honestly need a server that can hold a larger quantity of people. They're a university after all.

They're working on it (or plan to, not sure if it's been finalized yet). But since it's such a large amount of work and will cost tens of millions of dollars they are spreading it out over 5 years. There's a thread about this somewhere on MacInsiders.

i Think there's someting wrong with MUGSI.
i woke up at 6am yesterday and it was stilll full. It usually isnt.. not even during the first week when solar is opened.

My little tip is when you press mugsi and it the window pops up saying that it is at its maximum capacity, then move that window so that the button is right on top of the mugsi button so when you close that "full capacity" window, you can immediately press mugsi again.

I really found this year was exceptionally bad. Mugsi seemed to be a lot slower than in previous years, at least for me.

Actually this year wasnt that bad for 3rd year soc sci got in at 12:01 and finished at 12:10.

This is probably a stupid question that's been asked before but, can we not 'request' or vote for a new system? My friends at other universities never have issues like this when selecting courses or their systems crashing during peak times throughout the year (like the mac network tends to do around midterms, exams, etc...). Something along the lines of the vote we did to keep/ditch the mac email system?

I tried till 1:30 and it didnt let me in. An advice wake up at 3:30 and try its easier and I got into all my courses
