iPhone 5 won't be out in 6 months, the iPhone4 has only been out in Canada for 5 months.

I second the Samsung Galaxy S. I recently got one to replace my crufty HTC Magic. It's got an epic screen, really good battery life.

The only problem is the GPS kinda comes broken out of the box. It can be easily fixed though by flashing custom firmware (I used the Perception 10.1 firmware).

The iPhone 5 will probably be announced in June (6 Months) and released in either late June or early July... just like every iPhone since 2007. I may be wrong, but Apple's been doing it for over 3 years now and I see no reason for that to change.

Well, I'll wait till the end of Q1... no later!

Honestly I just wanna combine iTouch and cellphone, and get rid of the iTunes nonsense.

Wait, you have a iTouch?

Should check out the Apple Peel 520 that turns iTouch to iPhone.

32Gb, 3G. Its mostly bad when using wifi, but even music drains it quickly (6ish hours).
My nano is even worse. :(

it's the screen that kills it man. Just turn brightness down and they go forever.

That might be true.

You still got warranty RyanC? Battery is under Apple's Warranty because it can not be changed by the users.

It's totally true. It's the backlight that drains the majority of the power. My new HTC desire z has an app built in that shows what is using what % of your battery life. Even at the lowest setting my display still saps 71% of my battery usage.

I know what you mean. When I had my iPhones, I always keep it low as possible. Even with my Blackberry I do the same.

I was just opening up a possibility that he might have a defective battery and didn't know it.
