Psych 1X03
I'm not exactly sure how much this course has changed over the years, but this year, Psych 1A03 got renamed to Psych 1X03.

So this course introduced you to some of the most basic concepts and theories in psychology. I'd say this a pretty unique course in the fact that all lectures were...

Just to clarify, the tutorials and cores have been combined into a core this year.

There's only 1 optometry program in Canada, at Waterloo. No psych required. I know, I used to be obsessed with wanting to be an optometrist.

I hope whoever is applying to optometry is going to apply to more than Waterloo. Plus there are two optometry programs in Canada, the other one is in French at L'Universite de Montreal.

Yeah but chances are if you were gonna do your studies in French, you wouldn't have started with an undergrad at Mac

You just need to know french. The difference is very minimal. I went to a french elementary school then went to an english high school with extended french. I had no problem with the language barrier. Thank goodness for the time France owned England and had the mandatory language changed to French XD, there are so many similar words.

Is it okay to buy a used copy of the courseware from last year since it doesn't appear to be very useful? Does the content change from year to year?

That's probably fine, but ask your TA about it. The content of the course probably won't change much, but the content of the courseware could.

Psych 1X03 courseware was the biggest waste of money. I think u would be better off not buying even a used copy. But yes i think they do change the content a bit (if not the content atleast the format would be changed somewhat).
