Psych 1X03
I'm not exactly sure how much this course has changed over the years, but this year, Psych 1A03 got renamed to Psych 1X03.

So this course introduced you to some of the most basic concepts and theories in psychology. I'd say this a pretty unique course in the fact that all lectures were...

They leave them up now, so you can watch them whenever. There were way too many ways around the 2-week timeframe, so I guess they just gave up trying to hide it?

I always thought the URL thing was sketchy, because they can probably track who's clicking on the link, especially since you had to be logged in to webct to view it. I'm not sure if they could track it on webct, but on ELM they could see when anyone logs on to the course site.

Yeah, never thought of that. It was the same with WebCT. It tracks what you click on and how long you view things for.

I know gr.12 bio is recommended, but I don't have it. Is that going to be a real problem?

It really shouldn't be for 1X03.

You don't need it at all for 1X03, but it required for 1XX3. I didn't have any trouble in 1X03 even though I hadn't taken grade 12 biology before.

Honestly I have no idea, it's best if you do the research yourself. Just search up what schools in Canada or abroad have those programs and then look up prerequisites on their respective websites.

Luckily, there's a thread on MacInsiders that discusses Dentistry school prereqs. http://www.macinsiders.com/showthread.php?t=2964 7

As well as Medical school:

strawbrryjam says thanks to feonateresa for this post.

It's required for some optometry schools, can't remember which ones exactly though.

This course on my timetable reads PSYCH 1X03 C34 PC 273 12:30-13:20. I heard that for this course you watch the lectures online, do I have to watch it during this specic time slot? Is this a tutorial of some sort? Is physical presence required?

It's like a tutorial, you will be discussing material during this time. It's probably required, there were assignments 2 years ago.... don't know if they are any now but if they are you have to attend to receive and submit your assignments. So go to the first one at least.

You watch the lectures online, and then the core is a review class where the TA goes over the lecture material. We had a quiz at the end of each class. These quizzes weren't mandatory but they could be used to take the weight off of your final exam. There is a separate tutorial in which attendance is mandatory (participation marks).
