Maybe a weird question, but if we drop by McMaster anytime soon (eg. May @ Mac), could we just hand in the new student form somewhere? A stamp's not much money, but you gotta start somewhere, right? XD;

I believe you are able to hand it into the Registrar's Office, but I would call them and confirm.

If I were to send in a non-passport picture, would it have to be not smiling, facing forward type of thing, similar to passport pictures? Or am I allowed to be smiling, or not facing straight forward, etc?

I think the only restricton is the size...as long as the photo allows them to identify you I think it shoudl be okay. Unfortunately I dont know what the size of a generic passport picture is so i cant hep you there.

If I had to guess, it would need to follow the standard passport rules of facing forward and not smiling. I don't think the smiling thing is as big a deal, but if you submitted a photo of yourself with a hoodie on, wearing big sun glasses, and your face is silhouetted... then I think they wouldn't accept it

I know if you get your photo taken in the Registrar's Office you are allowed to smile and look...happy.

However I think they say passport photo because they are a standard size.

Mine was bigger as well, I just taped it onto the form anyways. You could paper clip it on as well.

Ps. I got mine done at Costco, they were cheap there. But now that we're not members there anymore, Walmart is the best alternative. REALLY CHEAP.

Also.. ps. highschool grad photo. Go to WALMART! Its much cheaper than the company that comes to your school.
