Apple products are great for the most part, I find that people who don't have them, hate them! (it's probably because they're just jealous)

Breaking the bank to buy a laptop on which I'm just going to end up using word processors and Internet?
I see no point.

i'm paying 6 grand to be here.
i go on facebook in class, i chat with my friends, i own TWO ipods...you pay for you, i pay for me...i get the right to do what i like once i'm here, and so do you.
i can rock the ipod, socialize and facebook and still get my work done, so i'm sure you can do fine...if those like me are really a huge distraction for you maybe that is the real issue..

I did this for the first few classes because I was nervous :(. I've stopped though.

You're in your penultimate year. I've just started.
I don't really look fondly upon distractions in class because I need to get into the swing of things.
People are still going to do all these things, I realize this, but I just needed to rant. As mentioned in the very first line of the first post.
I also don't see what owning two iPods has anything to do with this. Just saying.

Hopefully you guys will get this one:
When people raise their hand in lecture and basically summarize the last five minutes (usually in an annoying, know-to-all voice) without asking a question or for clarification or anything like that. Basically just showing off to the prof
That ticks me off...I abhor show offs, suck-ups and coddled kids...
On a related note (its usually the same people), people asking stupid questions. Like when the test is five minutes after the prof said. Yes, because all 400 of us like to stop in the middle of lecture just so everyone can serve you needs.

honestly there really isnt many things that bother me in class but the one main thing that annoys me is when someone isnt listening and ends up literally asking a question the pof JUST gave us the answer in the lecture. and other thing is when there are those smart ass kids who just keep trying to prove the prof wrong or points out every tiny mistake like a spelling mistake.
but yea facebook doesnt really bother me in class but im not gonna lie i get distracted if some is in front of me and is just browsing thru their facebook pictures cause it just catchs my attention instictivly

These things don't happen in Commerce. We don't even ask questions. We just sit there in silence even if we're ****ing confused.

I hate how if you take notes on a laptop, occasionally you'll find yourself beside those people who just copy your notes off your screen instead of paying attention to taking their own >|

Im getting sick of the kids who still think its cool/impressive to ask the prof 50 questions during one lecture.
"Earlier you mentioned such and such.... is that related to (insert nerdy reference) ...."
STFU.
You're not impressing everyone, most people at mac are smart. jesus.
