I'm not sure. Yes EOW means every other week, but I don't know if your lab section starts the week after your classes do.

Consult the instructor perhaps via email?

Yes that's fine, since both the labs and the tutorials are EOW (every other week). In others words, one week you'll have the lab 2:30-5:20 and the next week you'll have the tutorial 3:30-4:20; they alternate weeks.

Yeah, they alternate on a weekly basis... I'm not sure which one is first though.

Timetables are working now yes.

What do you all think of the look/feel of it? It's maroon with black borders, the boxes are green.

I'll most definitely print my own schedule format (including custom colours =D) once my classes are finalized. I'm curious to know however, how did the timetables look before they implemented this new system?

There would be a relatively obvious notice with astericks and a yellow background if any of your courses had conflicts. Also, there would be an "ACTION REQUIRED" notice on top of the timetable explaining the conflict(s). I'll try to post a screenshot to clarify, but I'll have to open my timetable again which will take some time =P

**EDIT** : Here's an example of a conflict

It's a tad hard to read what you posted, but i'm assuming you're quoting the McMaster Master Timetable Search for MATH 1A03 1D? If so, then yes, those are the times the courses are offered and you would have to choose a core (C) time as well as a corresponding tutorial (T) time that is conflict-free. And all MATH 1A03 classes are three days a week, it's just that some cores are at different times than the other two days. For instance, for Core 1 (C01), the class runs Mondays and Wednesays from 8:30-9:20 as well as Fridays 10:30-11:20

I have reviewed my personal timetable on SOLAR and have received the following message for both Term 1 and 2:

"ACTION REQUIRED: SOCIOL 1A06 3D T45 Conflicts with SOCIOL 1A06 3D T45"

The following appears under the "Thursday" column of the timetable:

**** CONFLICT ****
SOCIOL 1A06 T45
MDCL 1010
11:30 - 12:20

**** CONFLICT ****
SOCIOL 1A06 T45
KTH 105
11:30 - 12:20

These two classes are identical tutorial sections, so how are they in conflict with one another? I have also checked and have found no conflict with any other courses. Does anyone know what's up with that:S? or how to fix it? Thanks a lott

weird... they are the same class though right??

It sure looks like they are a conflict with each other.... but you are only taking 1 SOCIOL 1A06 class right? So it has put two in there by mistake?
