You can't take 6 courses in first year, Amara* unless the 6th course you are speaking of is a non-credit.
You can only overload classes when your faculty has seen how you perform as a student.

Everyone, please post all of your problems/bugs/conflicts here in this thread. I will send them to the timetable team so they can be fixed. Thanks.

It sure looks like they are a conflict with each other.... but you are only taking 1 SOCIOL 1A06 class right? So it has put two in there by mistake?

Yep just one SOCIOL 1A06 class and that's what i was guessing (it's been put in twice) but is there anything i can do to fix it? I've emailed [email protected]

Having it like that is perfectly fine. My boyfriend had 6 courses term 1 and 5 courses term 2 last year.
To your second question: you *should* make a timetable for term 2. I don't really like the timetable format they used, but if you choose to use their template, then just print out both semester's timetable. lol

Yea, it should be fine. From what I heard, Inquiry was a joke anyways. lol
You have a few projects, but nothing too hard to handle. =]

Cuppycake i also had a question about the timetable..

for example for math 1a03, if i choose CO1, can i not choose a tutrial beyond T09??

So I had a conflict on my timetable, and I've fixed it (on my own) and I'm gonna change it in SOLAR on Tuesday, but I was just wondering what the chances are that the classes I'm switching into will be full? The classes are Math 1H03 (term 1), Engineer 1D04 (term 1) and Engineer 1C03 (term 2).

You can only choose a tutorial from the corresponding component section. In your example for instance, if you choose C01, you can only choose tutorials 1-9. The reason is (I think) cores have different professors, and the TAs that run tutorials base it on the prof's lectures.

If you're an engineering major, I'm almost 100% sure you'll get a spot in these classes. You may not get the Core/Tutorial/Lab times you want, but you'll definetly be enrolled.

Yes. For Core classes, you are guaranteed a spot if it is your major, or in your case desired major.
