It took me around 2 hours to get on to SOLAR this morning. Even though I "stake out" the site and try to get on MUGSI early, it never fails! At least I got almost all the courses I wanted. Yay for going into 4th year.

I got on after 2 hours, I picked 3 courses and got booted before I saved them...then I finally got on again an hour later and one of my courses was full....
Oh well...this is the last time I'll ever have to go through this stupid system...yay for 4th year!

Seriously, it shouldn't be hard to make a server a bit bigger right?
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
at least it only took me an hour.
and yeah Maccess is just a link to mugsi, so it takes the same amt of time. You must have chosen a lucky time to get in is all, i think.

That's a questions we've been asking for a while now.

Whoa, 60? That is ridiculously low for the amount of students at McMaster...

Yeah I seriously doubt it's 60. It would take forever and a day to get everyone registered.

Not really... if McMaster has 20000 students and 60 students log in with a time limit of 45minutes. Let's be honest it's only 10 courses... it would only take approximately 10full days to register everyone. There are 13days listed for registration not counting the days in between. So it's definitively possible. But we all know that later on in the afternoon it's a lot easier to get on, indicating that most people have already selected their courses. I wouldn't be surprised if it lets on 200people at a time.

I would guess 200
20000 students, but the solar opening dates are staggered, so they might expect about 3000 each day. Factor in how many students are able/willing to log in at midnight (my guess is about 400). So they'd have 200 or so spots.
lol, just guesses btw
I just spent an hour trying to getting in.
Still haven't registered for my courses yet.

Hey, has SOLAR opened on time for you guys so far? Midnight exactly? One time it was late and my 45 minute limit booted me off, that really pissed me off. lol
