One more thing: I chose Linguistics as my elective. It's an evening class. The core is from 19:00 - 21 and the tutorial runs from 21:00 - 22:00. They're both in the same building but will this be a problem for me?
10 minutes in between classes is enough time to cover any distance on campus. Just try to not get stuck behind slow people getting out of the lecture halls.

The evening class will be fine as well, don't worry.

@AeRo: Several nursing students that I've managed to add on facebook are experiencing the same problems. Many of us are. I'm pretty sure the contacts have been bombarded with the same questions/concerns haha. BTW join the group!!! McMaster Nursing 2013.

If the courses are in the same building then it's awesome, especially when the weather sucks

My poor friend. She registered last night on SOLAR.
And she was like "Mallory, I'm warning you; you're going to want to kill yourself or someone else. Its probably more painful then giving birth."

So yeah. I'm mentally prepping myself for Friday lol

Solar closes for me tomorrow until August sometime, and I have only registered for 3 courses because of electives being "full" as well as one required course. I have spoken to the department for my required course, and they are still waiting to get permission to add seats. So should I be leaving it at 3 courses until August to see if anything else has opened up? and is there nothing we can do until solar re opens?

I confirmed my payment agreement, but still can't enable my MAC ID Services. Is there usually a wait between you can do the two?

Hmm, not usually. Maybe give it a day and if the problem persists, call the tech support to ask if they can fix it for you.

You should try and look through the Course Calendar to find more electives that you wish to take. You aren't guaranteed in to get a spot in the electives you want. But you are guaranteed a spot in that one course you are required to take. You can keep on checking back from time to time to see if the electives you initially wanted are open and then switch them with the electives you took in the meantime. You cannot do anything while SOLAR is closed.

Hmmm, have you entered your SIN in MUGSI yet? I think that was my problem last time...
