SOLAR won't let me pick any math courses, should I contact the math department, regsitrar, math academic advisor, or dean?

It's always worth a try. However, math courses belong to the faculty of science. They have yet to pick their courses so there are still a lot of seats that are closed. The seats will open on July 3rd. You can try again then. You should also keep on trying up until then, people may drop the course at any time.

yes! i got my mac id enabled today so there is a 24 hour wait! now i have to wait for my MUSS email for another day right?  |

Approximately yes. It may take a little bit longer than 24 hours depending on volume though.

I'm about to throw my computer out my 22nd floor window >(
I've managed to get onto SOLAR several times and then clicked the fall 2009 course registration
but I keep getting this message:
You have been blocked from using this online service. To determine if you will be able to use the service you need to contact your Faculty or Programme Office. Please contact the Office of REGISTRAR'S OFFICE
I've e-mailed both my faculty and the registrar's office but their reply is just telling me to call the registrar's office, which is impossible to reach since there's probably hundreds of people trying to call.
It's probably because my offer was rescinded last year, my faculty says that they checked my student records and that all they see is that my offer was rescinded but that was LAST year, I've improved my marks and reapplied this year and got in, and I KNOW my final average is above what is needed.
but the system probably still thinks I have my offer rescinded since I had problems with residence application too.
So now I'm just waiting until I can finally reach a human being and talk to them and hopefully resolve this problem before I rip all my hair out
ARGH I don't think I've ever been so frustrated in my entire life >(

yeah i got my mail to work now too. but did u have a problem sending mail to the muss email? i can send mail from muss to my hotmail but not the other way around.

There were available spots, that wasn't the problem. SOLAR doesn't let me pick any required math courses because it says I do not have the prerequisites, even though they are mandatory courses. |

If it's required, you should definitively call your department. They will give a waiver.

Well Math 1A03 was full and Math 1M03 was available but it didn't let me pick it. So then I tried selecting Math 1F03/Math 1K03 and even that didn't work.

I've sent out 4 emails so far and now I found email addresses of math student advisors, so I'm sending them all emails as well.

Did you take highschool Calculous/Data management? Because if not, you need to take Math 1F03/1K03 in first term, so that you qualify to take Math 1M03/1A03 in second term.
