Okay as soon as i got into SOLAR on my day i tried to get French1A06 which is supposed to have a ton of classes and a ton of space... and it was full?? Like I didnt even get a chance... Ive been taking it since Kindergarten and now I feel denied :(
Do these things open up again? Do classes get added? Like I feel ripped off.
I know alot of "bird courses" so to speak, will fill up fast... but French?? Common what happened...

Classes don't generally get added unless McMaster sees a very big demand (through e-mails, calling, etc...) and if they can get the teacher to teach another class.
That said, people can get kicked out of their classes for not confirming their payment agreement before a certain day (Probably at sectioning time) and people are always switching classes.

Have: Physics 1L03
Want: Origins 2B03
... I'm guessing there's probably no one on this site that would do such a trade :p

Just a concern...I'm going into Life Sciences in the fall as well and I see you don't have a physics, which could be a slight problem considering you're required to take 3 units of PHYSICS 1L03 or PHYSICS 1B03 in your first year.

I have a whole bunch of 3rd year philosophies and political sciences that I registered in just for the sake of registering. When I get accepted into Labour Studies I'll be dropping most of them. Let me know if you wanted a 3rd year philos or poli sci, I probably have it lol.

Have: Science 2B03 or Origins 2B03 (the same cross-listed course)
Want: Envir Sc 1G03 or Bio 2F03
I want to minor in Envir Sc, and those two courses would go towards that minor.
PM me if you would like to trade (:

Wow, was Origins 2B03 also listed on SOLAR as Science 2B03? The whole time I was checking Origins 2B03, and I never bothered to check under science. Was there a science 2B03 also listed, but with available seats? :o

For the first time in my university life, I managed to get every single elective I wanted. (That being said, there were only three of them, so it wasn't that much of a stretch) For a moment, I almost loved SOLAR a little bit. <3 <3 <3

There is a Science 2B03 listed on SOLAR, but when I chose the course, Origins 2B03 was still available.
I believe that when two courses are cross-listed, like Science 2B03 and Origins 2B03, when one of them is full, the other one is as well.
I was trying to get into Astron 1F03, but it was full, so I went to check under Physics 1F03 (since they are cross-listed courses) and it was also full.

I'm in the engineering faculty though, and it said I was allowed to take Science 2B03 on my electives table. Maybe it locks me out of Origins 2B03 by telling me it's full, but leaves it open for me for Science 2B03. I should have checked...
I guess I won't know until the 13th when SOLAR reopens. Were there still seats open by any chance the last time you checked?

You need to take Physics before your second year. So, you could take it in summer school if you wanted too.
