If I had an elective, I'd take Physics 2G03 or Math 2R03 or Physics 3S03

I think it would be on your transcript. Anyone want to confirm this?
You do put it on your grad card as well.

You can't be serious, lol.
Anyway, it's a server which connects everyone on the McMaster residence network together and allows them to share files. Some people on there have close to 2 terabytes of movies and stuff. It's very fast since it doesn't go over the internet.
You can connect from outside the rez network, but it goes really slow since that has to go through the internet. There are a few articles on this site about it.

It's a program that allows you to share files with other people. That's not all that impressive by itself but since all the computers on campus are part of the same network and you can easily 500+ people using it at the same time it quickly adds up to a huge number of files available at very high speeds. You can pick up DVD quality movies in less than 5 mins, entire seasons of TV Shows/anime before you'd have time to go down to commons and pick up a snack. Since everyone has something different to offer, there a huge variety of content on it too.
The program also allows everyone on it to chat, which is another + for some people.
They're doing some new things with it this year to try and get DC++ for off campus kids, so it might be a bit rocky at the start, but it's definitely worth checking out.
