The two Dells are identical as are the two HP's. The Sony and Samsung are quite similar as well. From the specs listed on the website, I would go

1) Samsung/Sony

2) Dell

3) HP ** Edited after figuring out the problem with the HP specs.

Although I'm confused as to how the HP's can be listed with 1759 MB of video memory... if that's not a typo, then that's awesome! I highly doubt it's true though.

It would also depend on what you will be using the laptop for. For example will you be gaming at all or just using it for browsing, etc...

I also try to stay away from HP's since I've haven't heard great things about them.

I noticed that too. I think its because it has integrated graphics , so it lists the amount ram it can use for graphics.

I haven't heard great things about HP either, but if they have 17XX megs of video memory, then that's unbeatable

Under "integrated graphics", they're listed as "no", so something has got to be wrong on there! XD

Yeah I find that Future Shop has a lot of trouble properly listing the specs of their computers.

If you take a look at graphics chipset it says Intel GMA 4500MHD. This is an integrated card.

Ok, with that in mind, I would recommend the Sony/Samsung over all the others then.

I won't use it for gaming. Just browsing, Microsoft office, etc.

Out of the machines you showed us, I'd say Sony.

Thats a pretty good computer... it's along the same lines as the sony/samsung. I've never seen or used an LG computer though, so I can't comment personally.
