Hey guys,

it was difficult to find out how to book a room so I was unable too. So we will have to wing it. We will meet in GSB lobby (1st Floor) at 3:00 pm tomorrow. There are 2 rooms in GSB that are usually empty. However, I do not know if there will be classes in these rooms at 3:30 or not, so be ready to up and leave quickly if need be.

What this lesson will contain:

1. Meeting the members: a good way to start this group rolling, so it can take off

2. Parts of a guitar: The names and use of some the of main parts of a guitar. The strings and how to tune them.

3. Some quick notation, that will be used to show how to play chords, scales etc... (tablature)

4. Some simple chords to practice throught the reading week.

So this lesson will not give information on autoflange, pinch harmonics, potentiometer swapping, so if this is what you feel you need to know, the first lesson isn't the right place

However, I am assuming that this group contains people just starting guitar, so we are starting at the basics. However, if this is not the case, we can adjust the lesson accordingly.
