I thought the monster played well, lots of key saves. I dont think you can blame him for the goals (atleast unlike Toskala he does not let in softies). Most of the goals against him seem tip-ins or rebounds which is good. I think his sv% will improve, but dam the leafs need to tighten up defensively more (last OT goal that hit on Komi was dangerous!).
Btw if ur a habs fan, gd job w another blowout!

Hmm ok...our 2 goalies were injured (top goalie {Gus}) gone, and we are still mising whats to be our top goal scorer. Our team has been geling anyways.
2 blow outs in the same month? fun.
Btw, the stream I was watching the game on there were 2 habs bashing the team the whole time? kinda sad they wud rather watch leafs than their own habs.

That Ribeiro will get what is coming to him one day...
I think Gustavsson has now solidified his place as our top keeper. I was glad to see him angry after the loss lol. Finally Kulemin has put some goals on the board, I had picked him to improve the most. We lost fair and square (one can argue). It was a great game by both teams; a point is better than nothing at this point, no pun.
As for Blake...Blake, please play like this every night! When the opposition is forechecking, Komi is the last person I want with the puck in an attempt to clear it; had he cleared it in overtime, that would have changed the whole complexion of the game... If the Leafs win Friday and Saturday, they are back in it!

OMG Blake was everywhere!!!
He's so fast!! if only he can get his shots through... and then he will be unstopabble.
Leafs are improving... very slowly... but its a good sign.. goal tending seems to be solved now its just the D and O that needs to get it together.

I just found out that Gus will be starting on friday and Toskala (most likely) on Saturday. RW doent want Gus to be playing 3 games in 4 nights.
Toskala sucks, I hope we can pull a win against Mtl.
Btw, we havent beaten buffalo since last dec so dont be surprised if we lose to them (they are 7-1-1!! Ryan miller hasnt lost in regulation yet!)

MTL beats Leafs in a SO. Its sad how you think ur MTL is so much greater than the leafs yet they needed a SO to beat them!! SO says nothing about the teams thats why they dont have them in playoffs.
Also not to mention that if we had monster in net and Kessel in lineup we wud have beat u guys easy.
One final thing, please never every sing that good bye song again (epic fail LOL), and get better jerseys. UGLY, the only thing that looked good was the maple leafs.
