@ nikhil

You are right, having that many classes back to back will wear you out... especially since the classes go right through lunch. It's hard to eat anything during that quick 10 minute break, you need a good 1 hour lunch break.

I would probably go onto the McMaster Master Course Timetable and look up each of your classes in there. When you click on the course code it will bring up the other times that the class/tutorial/lab is available. From there, look at your timetable and see if you could possibly change one of those classes/tutorials to a different day/time without any conflicts. If you find that you can, then go into SOLAR and try to make the change by adding the new section. If it's full, then you're out of luck, but if it isn't full and you can add it, then drop the existing one and replace it with the new one to help balance the load out a bit.

I personalle think this sounds like an awesome schedule, but it may depend on the type of person you are. I would much rather have classes back to back, and three is the perfect number. Four to 5 would probably be too many. I always hated last year how I would have a class, ehn an hour to spare, then a class, then an hour to spare. But it depends on the type of person you are and stuff. Plus I think you will come to love those complete days off!!!!

And, I found you can be really productive on those days off...as you have ample time to do what it is you need to do. Also, I have found it a pain in the ass to get any sort of work done within a 50 minute span, thus, I like my classes in chunks.

i wanted to ask u ppl something...i changed my schedule a bit yesterday...although it had no conflicts..but i wanted it to my liking..now i open my schedule and see this:
E O W
PHYSICS 1D03 T07
BSB 106
14:30 - 16:20
E O W
PHYSICS 1D03 L07
ROOM: TBA
14:30 - 17:20

Note the overlapping times. So my question is tht is this a conflict???..cause this CAN BE IF both of the classes are in the same week..so how do i know tht both of the classes arent in the same week???

Looking forward to ure ppls replys..

I have the same thing going on for term 2! I think you're allowed to pick when those EOW labs/tuts are, so no conflict happens.

Is it true that our labs are only every other week???

Yes. And apparently, labs must alternate with tutorials. From Kathy McIntosh (biology department contact):
"Please note that when you register into a BIO lab (i.e. L17) you are automatically placed in tutorial T17 since they run opposite each other (lab one week; tutorial the next week"
