Depends on what country you're going to, some countries do not allow access to many websites and foreign university sites is sometimes one of them.

I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks.
As long as you can get on the internet it should be okay :] But yeah, it depends on the country.

prepare to rage all night long. you're 1. connecting to an international website from where you'll be. and 2. using dial up.

good luck, i feel for you.

Every single elective i want to take is full or no offered. I am VERY unimpressed with Mac right now. :@:@:@:@ Oh and a quick question, if I took a core course in summer school, do i still need to take a 30 unit course load come september?

Dial-up, international websites, and SOLAR definitely do not all get along.

You could take 30 units during the school year if you wanted to (that way you'd be ahead X units from the summer school class and so you could have a reduced courseload in a later year) but no, you don't have to substitue another course and you could have a reduced courseload this year. Mac doesn't care when you take your units as long as they add up to the total amount you need for your program.

You would probably be better off with a lighter courseload in 4th year.

Ya, I agree with jhan523. That's actually what I'm doing with my extra 6 units.

Hey ThatGuy, try emailing Luc Bernier at [email protected] .mcmaster.ca

He is the Undergraduate academic advisor for the School of Geography and Earth Science. Explain to him your situation and which courses you need a seat in and hopefully he can open seats for you like he did for me (I am also shadowing Honors Earth and Environmental Science). Good luck.

Hi, can anyone check if there are spots left in STATS 2B03 and MMEDIA 1A03? I want to take the stats course this year because it was suggested by MedRadSci department for me to take it this year instead of Year 3. Also, the multimedia course is my preferred free elective.

Thanks!
