People should not get Macbooks just for the pretty little Apple symbol.
If you aren't interested in the operating systems, if you don't care about the user interface, if you don't really have any particular reason to choose a Mac over a Windows...why are you getting once and depreciating the value of Macbooks for people who really love them and want them?

We care for our devices.
We just want to feel special for it.

LOL to me it seems like a lot of people get Apple products just because they think it's "different"... not necessarily because they prefer it for any practical reason...

Yes... a product of the desire to "look cool" or "be different".

I suspect the number of people in that image who actually understand the differences an Apple offers and the benefits they can reap from their products are a mere fraction of the total. The rest are just copycats.

They should find ONE computer thats not a mac in that pic, circle it, and then write "microsoft...BE different"
