Death threats are a crime so they shouldn't be posted. We're only making sure that students keep this in mind. Police do use facebook as a tool and it would be foolish to think that the police do not check what is said on Facebook.

Have you BEEN to his wall, silly? No one's posted death threats!!! The police have their man--they have no need to be on the look out for displaced students who are rightfully angry.

@Alistair

No one said death threats were posted on his wall. Sabrina simply made the point that police do use Facebook as a tool and can check what is posted.

Rather than argue over what's NOT being posted on his facebook, we should use his facebook to examine his mental state. For example, he thinks we should "****in' nuke the Americans". This statement makes it very clear that he's not playing with a full deck. Maybe Sabrina's right. Maybe the police and prosecutors will use his facebook against him to attest that he's totally loony tunes.

Does that mean the people who threatened him go to jail for threatening him?

P.S.
What do you get by threatening him?

Maybe whoever does that is just trying to act brave cause they know he won't reply. LOL..GET A LIFE!
if lets say he is acquitted, he might decide to harm anyone who did insult him and for your own safety its just best not to involve yourself with someone who has a criminal record.

He could have killed someone - that's all there is to it. Put him in jail, that's where he deserves to be.
I'm inclined to agree with you on this one... At the /very least/, ONE NIGHT in jail certainly won't teach him anything.

What I want to know is where on earth they got the 50k... That's a heck of a lot of money to just pull out of your pocket that quickly.

They didn't GIVE the money, they have to pay the money if he doesn't show. It's more of an IOU just in case.

edit: actually it's like a sort of deposit. If you break it they take the money, if not they just rip up the transaction.

That was my first thought too, but there are specific places that will loan you the money to bail someone out, and if you don't pay it back you're in big trouble.

I was just hypothetically speaking.. neither am I posting on a wall nor am I threatening. I was just curious.

Yes I have BEEN to his thread silly. I never SAID anyone posted death threats but I personally have talked to quite a few Brandon students and they're out for blood. My CONCERN was that students would post said threats not realizing that they could get into trouble. Think about the whole situation before you speak.

Yes because you are oh so qualified to make judgments about someones mental state of mind. The whole idea is just so... silly!
