Yes he should feel bad, but I don't think it should be the priority for the current situation. Many more students are feeling far worse and that should be fixed instead. He is going to feel bad later on when he continues on later in life, when facing employment and earning a living. He cannot fix it. However, we can aid the victims by restoring their normal lives.

Agreed...in a materialistic view everyone's being compensated.
And for all the people being rude about it, insulting him isn't gonna help him to learn the intensity of what he did, do you think he's gonna regret setting a building on fire full of people so hateful? Being a jerk about the whole situation won't help a thing.

The only thing I really want to know at this point is why the guy lit the building on fire in the first place. That's not really something one does for the lulz without thinking about consequence... especially when it was his own residence /facepalm

I dunno, you'll probably find out something in regards to that when he goes to trial. I'm not sure if they're going to have an open court room or not. Either way, there will be something in the newspapers.

The only thing I find weird is that, he has his life set; he got into university, he can potentially get a degree; and support his family, etc. But seriously, why would someone end their track there, when they are only like five or so years away from being successful?
It's like blowing up a bridge you're trying to cross to the end, while you're on it.
