I wouldn't mind getting a small one one day (somewhere hidden, of course), I'm just scared that I'll get sick of it a few years from now, or it'll look gross when wrinkly, or affect me getting a job, etc etc.
Worst fear = finding the most perfect wedding dress EVER but then having tattoos exposed and it looking weird lmao :(
Oh, and I'm deathly afraid of needles and pain, so I'll probably never get one.

One of my best friends just got a tattoo that says "live love laugh" on it with a rose, butterlly, and music notes on her hip. It actually REALLY BIG. But she likes it.

Nurses can have tattoos, as long as they are not visible when they are wearing scrubs. Also, unless you have prison tats or tattoos that are over 20 years old, they should not contain any metal.
If you do get it done though, make sure that you have it spelled properly, unlike these poor folks!

Have you ever seen an old person? Their skin alone looks messed up, not to mention the giant ears, hair loss, etc. Everything distorts with age. If you don't want to look weird when you get old, then pull a Kurt Cobain.

LOL, oh man.
That would drive me nuts, haha!
I bet it looks nice, though
Oh well.
To each his own!
It's a nice saying, but I wouldn't necessarily want it written on me forever.
Maybe on a poster in my room or a facebook status update, bahah.

Honestly, its not that bad. just stay away from tattoos right over bone if pain is a concern. years ago, my ex got a tattoo with her daughters name on her ankle (and I mean ON her ankle). in 18 months with her, the only time i saw her cry was when the needle was on her ankle bone.

The worst is when some white guy/girl gets a Chinese character or two tatoo'd on themselves.
If there is a guidebook on being a douchebag, that's definitely in there.

lol so true. THats almost like some chinese dude getting an english word written on them. Instead of the chinese word for like fire, it could be "Fire". Now that would be slick.

*imagines the word "fire" tattooed on himself, in Arial*
*cringes*
Fun fact: for a brief period, during my pyromania phase, I did consider getting the Chinese word for fire (火) tattooed. I'm glad I didn't.

I bought a poster last year that I thought was the bombdiggity (yea I just used that word). I loved it so much I looked at it all the time just to admire how awesome it was. I would fall asleep staring at it's beauty. It had the best wall spot and all the other posters were jealous of how much more awesome that one was.
This year its sitting curled up by my door. I care not for it now.
This is why I would never get a tattoo.
