on move in, can our parents park outside our residence? or do they have to park in Parking Lot M ?

You should have gotten a package from mac that contained all sorts of info about welcome week. In that package there should have been a paper (might have been red, maybe not) with only a giant fireball (maybe some writing about putting it on your windshield).

There is no sticker.

so when we go to get our macpass, do we have to show anything like a receipt? or will they already have our names and stuff?

They have your names, but your supposed to bring your receipts. Definitively have your MacID though.

Hmmm, do we have to stay at the res after the moving all of our stuff in, or can we just go home and come back the day before classes begin?

So I think I got top bunk in a room in Whidden; what type of fan, if any, should I get? Can I even place one that high?

You most likely won't need a fan right in your face. Just have the fan near the window. Point it out during the day and in during the night.
