Do we pick up our keys from our residence or is there a particular building that we get them from?

West Quad = Keyes
North Quad = Commons (or Centro if the entire thing changed its name)

But there will be people everywhere to guide you.

But should I get the type of fan that actually stands up, or just those fans that you can put on a desk?

Good question. I don't remember perfectly but I think there are shelves in front of the windows, so a desk fan would probably be best.

Im living in Brandon Hall, and if my memory isnt too jaded from summer, i dont think it was possible to bring a car up to the rez it self? do we bring our cars up to Les Prince or w.e and then just have the reps take them out from there? also will there be reps telling us which way to go when we get there?

You'll be directed where to go, it's going to be in some parking lot that was converted into the drop-off place.

Yeah, that should also count as government ID.

Is anything provided to help move our fridge into the rooms or do we have to find our own?

Contact Housing if you plan on missing move-in day. You have to notify them or you can lose your room. If you plan on moving on or after September 10 you have to fill out a form.

http://housing.mcmaster.ca/Residence...ovein2010.html

Quote:
Late move-in...
  • Students planning to arrive late must notify residence admissions prior to move-in weekend.
  • Students moving-in on or after September 10th must fill our a late-arrival-request form.
  • Students who fail to submit this form and do not arrive prior to the 10th will lose their residence space, and forfeit their deposit.

The reps will most likely move it up to your room, but you have to actually move it into your room.
