There used to be a book that they would sent out every year called 'info' that would list the number of applicants and enrollments etc. for each Ontario university program. However i believe that was discontinued, and now they have the website http://www.electronicinfo.ca / instead. Which, i just checked, lists the amount of people get enrolled for each undergrad program, but no longer lists the amount who apply. Go to the degree locater on the website to find out for the program.

For Social Work, it is quite competitive, as there is a placement test as well. In terms of numbers though, I don't really know how many they accept.

I think I answered this before in another post. The only way I can think of to try and avoid that situtation is to list as many possible choices you want. That way, there are more choices to slot you in that isn't a triple room. But no matter what, there is no way to know. its all luck either way, i'm sure you'll have an awesome time even if you are in a triple room. Just enjoy it.

I had the same problem and I was really worried (esp since I did this so late minute) but from what I found out, if you're on waitlist, then it will state a number NEXT to it, to tell you what place you are. My application looked the same and so did a few of my friends, so I'm guessing its just the way it is.
And ferreinm, after reading all your posts about whidden, I became REALLY convinced that I wanna go there too =P

Unfortunately I dont have the number of students that applied to Social Work, they don't release them and I'm not in the program so I wouldn't have an idea.
Your best bet (to find that information) is to talk to the faculty office and/or the professors that are heads of the Social Work program as they would have a general idea and be able to guide you further

Great find. I wish they had the applicant numbers too, it would be useful.
All I could find was a page on social science:

Nope, you can't choose the floor you want. That would be wayyy too much work for Housing, haha!

For all of the people who have been worrying about the "guaranteed" checkmark, I think that the guaranteed box indicates people who have over 95% average, and are guaranteed a single room, or the room type that they want.

Hi kenvin100. you can choose what floor you want when you were listing your residence choices in your application process. However, when you get your acceptance to a certain building, you will have assigned rooms and floors. During that step of the application, you cannot pick your floor. I hope that clears it up.
