It hasn't started yet... But people are probably preparing. I wouldn't be surprised if MUGSI is already full.

Read the review that is posted on the course. That gives you more info on her teaching style etc.

Guelph I know for sure is much, much different than Mac. They choose their courses in...I think Jan/Feb for the following year.
Their classes are either MWF, TuTh or three hours on one day, and there is usually a MWF section, a TuTH section and a one-day section. Tutorials are held on the same day as lecture. This allows them to choose which days they want off (my friend had classes twice a week last year in first term). Ours don't really have a pattern, and we don't get to choose our sections.

Thought: contact your SRA representatives. They have lobbying power, and the numbers to potentially do something about this.
And their next meeting is July 11th.

I doubt you'll be able to for now. In August, when SOLAR re-opens you can access it again. Then the action you choose would be "change" and you can alter your sections.

So, I registered most of my courses today (I'm in Kinesiology, so we get in to register on the SocSci day, because we used to be Socsci, even tho I'm in the B.Sc stream).
I got home around 1:15 am from a concert, and finished registering the 8 courses around 2am. So overall, not too bad.
Unfortunately, there are no spaces in Stats 2B03 or English 1AA3. But I'm sure those will open up when Science kids get in tomorrow, and when the first years get in next week.
Hopefullyyyy it all works out.

I got scared for a second when I heard Stats 2B03 was full. But then I remember it's a required course so I get a seat Yay! ^-^
I was thinking of trying to get in to the course first

All of my courses are full except for 2 even required courses. So when I went to log off it said that my courseload has changed...but thats the only way I could exit. Do courses usually open up and when?Do I just keep checking?or is it common to not be able to get into most classes?

Keep on checking, people will drop courses and add other ones. There are always people that change their mind. Also, seats for lower level courses should open up when their respective department opens registration. You also have August 13th when SOLAR re-opens. At that time, all the closed seats should be open and people may change courses due to conflicts, not getting their desire schedule, etc...
