we beat atlanta too and they are currently in the playoff position.
Anyways, today's loss came against one of the best eastern teams (Boston) who had a 4 day rest, while leafs were playing their 3rd game in 4th night.
so yes FIFTY-ONE games stil left and anything can happen. Other teams can go on slump, a trade might be made (dont be surprised if Burke makes a run at Patrick Sharp, Chicago will be in cap trouble at the end of the season), hot streaks, anything can happen. 51 is still a big number for games remaining.
Kessel can make room for himself even with a defender on him 24/7, but i can't really say the same thing about his linemates, so we wil have to see. Not to mention, Kessel has been played hard by the other team's defense already.
